I'm coming off here and actually doing some art!

Have been spending a bit of money on art technique books, and got one on chiaroscuro that has made me fork out for some pastel pencils and paper. Good book though.
List of stuff to draw over the next two weeks:

A life-size cat for my dad to scare off next doors cat.
A portrait of my wife (pencil or pastel?)
Pencil sketches of feeding of 5000
Acrylic of the Feeding of 5000
more pencil sketches of The Myth poem

Would love to have the time to do all this but I've just bought Civilization PC Game, and it's sucked my life away.

Ah well

need to break this computer addiction with some sketching, come on get off this thing.

How the feck do you get an avatar from a photo that is 50px x 50px and under 15kb? I've spent bloody ages trying to do it with a photo that I liked and it didnt work.

Well, I've just spent most of my weekend working on my pencil drawing of a Raven, which I'm really happy with, but I need to finish it off and put a knotwork border on it. Also sketched some crows this morning on Tooting Bec. I love the crow family, they're such intelligent birds, with great personalities.

I'm also feeling a bit daunted by my decision to produce a series of seven paintings based on the miracles of St. John's Gospel!
